Software Engineer · C# / .NET

I build the systems behind modern banking.

Fullstack engineer at Finsolutia in Lisbon. I work on core-banking platforms in C# / .NET: scalable APIs, fast data access, and code that holds up in production.

The best backend is the one nobody notices.

I build the services behind financial products. Most days that means ASP.NET Core Web APIs, data access tuned with Dapper and SQL Server, and enough Clean Architecture to keep a growing platform from turning into a knot.

At Finsolutia I work in the Core Banking domain, shipping backend and fullstack features used in live financial operations. I started as an intern and earned two promotions in under two years, mostly by paying attention to how these systems actually behave in production.

I care about the unglamorous parts: query plans, clear contracts, honest code reviews. Away from the keyboard you'll find me at the gym, boxing, out on the bike, gaming, or tinkering with my homelab.

Fullstack Developer — Associate

I build ASP.NET Core Web APIs for internal and client-facing platform features, and design services around Clean Architecture and the Repository pattern. A good chunk of my time goes into Dynatrace traces, hunting slow queries. Several of those rewrites took endpoints from seconds down to milliseconds.

Fullstack Developer — Junior Associate

Promoted from the internship. I developed backend API features for fintech applications, wrote performance-tuned Transact-SQL, and helped raise code quality with SonarQube, Snyk and regular reviews inside an Agile team.

Software Engineering Intern

My first role in fintech, taken on while finishing my degree. I supported C# backend services, wrote and optimised SQL queries, tested APIs and fixed bugs across platform modules built on ASP.NET MVC, Razor and Kendo UI.

A production environment in my living room.

My main ongoing project is a three-node homelab: a NAS called Prometheus and two micro servers. It runs 24/7 and it's where I practise the same habits I use in fintech, from observability to security. The newest addition is a workflow of custom AI tooling for my day job.

Same instincts, different scale. The observability and security habits from this rack are the ones I bring to Core Banking.
